Warranty Advice

Due to B.E.R (Block Exemption Regulation) which was introduced in October of 2003 by the European Parliament, all independent specialists have the same access to ALL manufacturers facilities which includes the latest technical training, all special tools, diagnostic equipment, all relative software and above all - sharing of information.

All our servicing on Mercedes-Benz passenger cars is carried out in strict accordance with Mercedes-Benz guidelines, this includes us using genuine Mercedes-Benz parts. This is paramount for our customers who own cars which are under three years old where the manufacturers warranty is in force. In some circumstances a Mercedes-Benz dealer may be able to offer some owners a "goodwill gesture" which comes directly from the Manufacturer and pays a percentage towards a repair. Following these guidelines, using genuine parts and approved repair methods conducted by a time served Mercedes-Benz trained Senior Diagnostic Technician assures your warranty is fully intact.

Therefore, your Manufacturers Warranty is not affected when your vehicle is serviced and maintained by Hertfordshire Merx.

Please note that Manufacturers and Dealerships including any of their staff or representatives, cannot dictate to you where your Mercedes-Benz vehicle has its servicing carried out. Dealerships can keep any warranty work within its network, our sincere apologies to you that at this moment in time we can't carry out warranty work. We can however point out to you any components or procedures which are covered under warranty during a service in order for you to take your vehicle to a dealer to be assessed and repaired free of charge there during the first three years of your cars life.
